Most of the banks allow their customers to link their Aadhaar numbers with their bank accounts in various ways, including via internet banking, phone banking, SMS, ATM or by visiting their branches. After placing the Aadhaar seeding request, it will take 3-4 days to get this updated in bank and UIDAI database. If you have already submitted your Aadhaar seeding request using any of the above-mentioned modes then it is important for you to check your Aadhaar and bank account linking status.

UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has introduced a new facility which allows you to check your Aadhaar number and bank account linking status by visiting the official website of UIDAI. There is no need to visit the bank branch to check if your Aadhaar number is linked to your bank account or not.
