Features & Benefits of SBI Digital Savings Account

1. One SBI Digital Savings Account can be opened from one mobile phone.

2. SBI Digital Saving account opened at YONO App is singly operated. Joint account or joint mandate for the operation of SBI Digital Savings Account is not permitted.

3. The nomination is mandatory for SBI Digital Savings Account.

4. You will be required to maintain minimum balance as defined for normal Savings Bank Account.

5. The branch selected by you will be tagged as your Home Branch for opening SBI Digital Savings Account.

6. A personalized special Platinum Debit Card will be issued free of cost. The annual maintenance charges of Rs. 200/- p.a. will not be charged if you maintain the average quarterly balance of Rs. 25,000/-.

7. You will have an option to opt for cheque book facility with this account any time. For cheque facility bank will charge @ Rs. 10/- per cheque leaf.
8. An audio-visual statement will be sent to you by email.
9. Your monthly statement will be available on the Yono App.

Eligibility for opening SBI Digital Savings Account

1. The Resident Indian Individuals, over 18 years of age with the capacity to contract are eligible for opening SBI Digital Savings Account.

2. He/she must be having a valid Aadhaar number and valid PAN card. If the name in Aadhaar is different from that as in PAN card, the details as per Aadhaar card will be taken on record.

3. He/she must be having a local mobile number registered in his/her name, a smartphone, and an email address.

4. He/she will have to complete e-KYC through biometric authentication through SBI branch.

How to open SBI Digital Savings Account using SBI YONO App?

Step by step process to open SBI Digital Savings Account using YONO App is as under.

1. Download and install SBI YONO App from Google Play Store or App Store.

2. If you are an existing customer of SBI, click on “EXISTING CUSTOMER” option.

3. You can log in using your SBI internet banking user Id and password.

4. If you don’t have SBI internet banking facility activated. Just go to the SBI website (https://www.onlinesbi.com) and create your SBI internet banking user Id and password.

5. If you are the new customer, click on “Open a New Digital Account” option.

6. A new page will open, click on “Apply Now” to open SBI Digital Savings Account.

7. On next page click on “Apply New” option to proceed further.

8. Read product information and click on “Next” option.

9. Enter your email and mobile number, click on “Submit” tab.

10. You must have Aadhaar card, PAN card for opening SBI digital savings account.
