How to check online if your Aadhaar is linked to your Mutual Funds?
As per latest amendments to
Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) Rules, 2017, financial institutions
like mutual
funds are mandated to obtain Aadhaar number
from their customers and link the same to the respective mutual
funds accounts/folios. The deadline to link your Aadhaar
to your Mutual funds is March 31, 2018. However, if you haven’t linked your
Aadhaar to your mutual funds folios till now, you can read the below posts and
link your Aadhaar to your mutual funds folios.
Aadhaar Linking Confirmation Emails from RTAs
In case you have already
linked your Aadhaar to your mutual fund folios then you might have received
email confirmation from your RTAs. Below are the email confirmations that
mutual funds investors are getting from CAMS and Karvy.

How to check online if your Aadhaar is linked to your Mutual Funds?
Here problem is that even
after linking Aadhaar to Mutual Fund folios, you keep getting email or SMS
requests from your mutual funds AMCs about Aadhaar linking. This is quite
confusing and you are not sure if your Aadhaar linking has happened or not. To
be sure whether your Aadhaar linking has happened or not, you can call all your
mutual fund AMCs. Alternatively, you can check your Aadhaar linking status
online on CAMS and Karvy websites.
Check Aadhaar linking status online for CAMS serviced Mutual Fund?
CAMS is supporting 15 mutual funds and the list of
CAMS serviced mutual funds companies is as below.
1. Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund
2. DSP Black Rock Mutual Fund
3. HDFC Mutual Fund
4. HSBC Mutual Fund
5. ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund
6. IDFC Mutual Fund
7. IIFL Mutual Fund
8. Kotak Mutual Fund
9. L&T Mutual Fund
10. Mahindra Mutual Fund
11. PPFAS Mutual Fund
12. SBI Mutual Fund
13. Shriram Mutual Fund
14. Tata Mutual Fund
15. Union Mutual Fund
If you have invested in the
mutual funds offered by the above mentioned AMCs and you have already linked
your Aadhaar to your mutual fund folios.
Then just follow the below steps to check if your Aadhaar is linked to your mutual
funds or not.
2. Click on “Aadhaar linking
status – Individual” tab.
3. Here enter your PAN number and click on “Submit”
button.
4. In case, your Aadhaar is linked to
mutual fund companies serviced by CAMS, then it will show the status message as
“Aadhaar Available For The Given PAN”.
5. If your Aadhaar is not
linked to mutual fund companies serviced by CAMS, then it will show the status
message as “Aadhaar To Be Provided For The Given PAN”.

your Aadhaar to your mutual fund folios.
Then just follow the below steps to check if your Aadhaar is linked to your mutual
funds or not.
1. Visit Karvy website.
4. You will get an OTP on your mobile number and email (Registered with MF Folios with Karvy).
6. In case, your Aadhaar is linked to mutual fund companies serviced by Karvy, then it will show the status message as “Status: Aadhaar Seeding Successful”.
7. If your Aadhaar is not linked to mutual fund companies serviced by Karvy, then it will show the status message as “Aadhaar Not Registered”.
For Franklin Templeton
International Services and Sundaram BNP Paribas Fund Services I could not find
their online Aadhaar linking status check facility. You can call up their
customer care centers to verify your Aadhaar linking status.
