Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest and only public sector life insurance company in India. LIC has launched MyLIC App for its customers. In this post, let’s take a look at the LIC App - A New 3-in-1 App by LIC.  

MyLIC app is a 3-in-1 app that enables you to access LIC anytime, anywhere. You can get all the information about LIC products and services on the go through this app. This app is compatible with all of your devices.

MyLIC App

MyLIC App is the container app that holds different micro-apps that you can install individually on your device. These apps can be used as per your convenience.  Actually, it is LIC App Store. It allows you to download three micro apps of LIC namely LIC Customer, LIC PayDirect, and LIC Quick Quotes.

Where to get the MyLIC App?

MyLIC app is available for Android and iOS users. Android users can download it from Google Play Store and iOS users can download it from the App Store.

Just download and install this app on your gadget. Open the interface of the app and you will see the LIC App store with options to download three micro apps of LIC.

1. LIC Customer: Here you can view LIC products and portal services.

2. LIC PayDirect: Here you can pay your LIC premium without login.

3. LIC Quick Quotes: Here you can generate a premium quote.

LIC Customer App

As the name suggests, the LIC Customer app is the most useful app from the LIC customer’s point of view. You can sign in using your registered mobile number and registered email-id. You can view policies of self, spouse and children. Register for Premier Services (online service requests).

How to use the LIC Customer App?

Install LIC Customer App and select a language from Hindi and English languages. If you a registered portal user you can click on the “Registered Portal Users” option and sign in with your existing customer Id and password. 

After sign in you will be able to see your policies under policies and various menu items under My Apps like basic services, online payment, premier services, service registration, profile management, generic services and grievance. You can use these services as per your requirements.

LIC PayDirect App

LIC PayDirect is the second app by LIC. It enables you to make direct payment of your renewal premium, loan interest, and loan repayment. There is no need to register for making payments. You can also view the status of your transactions or payments done using the PayDirect option.

The features of LIC Pay Direct app are as follows:

Pay Direct - It allows you to make direct payment of Renewal Premium, Loan Interest and Loan Repayment.

View Transaction Status - You can view the status of payments made using PayDirect option.

This app provides a simple three step process to complete your premium payment.

LIC Quick Quotes App

As the name suggests it is a quick quote app by LIC. You can generate your premium quote by entering the details required (Name, Age, Gender, etc.) for premium calculation. 

In this app, you can view detailed information about all LIC plans like health, endowment, term, whole life, unit-linked, and pension. 

You can also view a benefit Illustration based on the IRDAI guidelines for two different earning scenarios on LIC Quick Quotes App.

I hope now you will be able to use MyLIC App easily from anywhere at any time. However, in my opinion, LIC Customer App is the most useful app for LIC customers.
