The country’s largest public sector bank, SBI, allows you to send money from your SBI account without adding beneficiary via SBI Quick Transfer facility. Yes, you read it right, now you can transfer money from your SBI account to any bank account without adding a beneficiary through Quick Transfer feature.



SBI Quick Transfer facility

SBI Quick Transfer facility allows you to transfer Rs.25,000 per day to any bank account. However, it allows you to transfer a maximum of Rs. 10,000 per transaction. SBI Quick Transfer facility is very helpful for the urgent money transfer as it eliminates the need of adding a beneficiary through “Add Beneficiary” option. The transfer of money using SBI Quick Transfer can be done through Net banking as well as the SBI Anywhere App. In this post, let’s take a look at how to transfer money from SBI to any bank account without adding beneficiary using Quick Transfer facility.

How to transfer money through SBI Quick Transfer

There are two options to transfer money from SBI to any bank account without adding beneficiary using SBI Quick Transfer facility.
1. SBI Quick Transfer through Net Banking
2. SBI Quick Transfer through SBI Anywhere App

Below is the step by step process for using SBI Quick Transfer facility through SBI Net banking
1. Visit SBI website https://www.onlinesbi.com/.
2. Login to your SBI Net banking account.
3. Click on “Payments / Transfers” tab on the menu bar.

4. In the Payments /Transfers section, click on “Quick Transfer” option under “Other Request” section.

5. It will redirect you to a new page.
6. Here you have to enter beneficiary’s bank account details
a) Beneficiary Name
b) Beneficiary Account Number

7. Now select a payment option. If beneficiary’s bank account is at SBI bank then select “Within SBI” option and if beneficiary’s bank account in other bank then select “Inter Bank Transfer” option.
8. If the beneficiary account is not in SBI bank then you also need to enter the IFSC code and select a money transfer mode either IMPS or NEFT.
9. Here enter the amount, you want to transfer. Remind you, only Rs.25,000 per day and Rs. 10,000 per transaction are allowed to transfer through SBI Quick Transfer facility.
10. Now click on “Submit” button to transfer the money.

SBI Quick Transfer through SBI Anywhere App

Below is the step by step process for using SBI Quick Transfer facility through SBI Anywhere App
1. Download and install the SBI Anywhere App on your smartphone.
2. Login to your SBI Anywhere App using your SBI Net banking user Id and password.
3. Once logged in, tap on the “Fund Transfer” option.

4. Now tap on “Quick Transfer” option on the next screen.

5. Here you will see two options: “Send Money” and “Receive Money”. Select the “Send Money” option to transfer the money.

6. Next screen, select your Debit Account details.

7. Here you have to enter beneficiary’s details
a) Beneficiary Name
b) Beneficiary Account Number
c) Confirm Beneficiary Account Number
d) Beneficiary IFS Code

8. Now enter the amount, you want to transfer. Remind you, only Rs.25,000 per day and Rs. 10,000 per transaction are allowed to transfer through SBI Quick Transfer facility.
9. Enter remarks (if any).
10. Now click on “Submit” button to transfer the money.


Hope now you will be able to transfer money from your SBI account to any bank account without adding a beneficiary through Quick Transfer feature.
